A Rough Evening

I am working on the grandparent pictures, but I was sitting in our office waiting for Jacob to come out of Keely's room and I thought I'd post about her rough evening.

She had been having fun as usual playing with daddy in the living room when all the fun ended when she fell and her lip hit the corner of the coffee table. Immediately, I saw it was bleeding and ran to get tissue while Jacob picked her up to console her. Normally, not much fazes her but this must of really hurt and got her all shaken up. We couldn't get her to calm down so we sat her in Jacob's lap in front of Veggie Tales and immediately the tears stopped...though it took her a little bit to get to breathing normally again! Then I was able to give her Tylenol and water to drink and finish blotting up the blood. Poor thing wasn't even able to enjoy her bath as much as normal! She had been asleep a few hours when we heard her cry out a couple times, so Jacob went to go check on her and her mouth was all bloody. So, Jacob is in her room putting her back to sleep (it looks like she probably shouldn't use the passy...maybe it'll will help wean her off of it...haha probably not!).

Saturday morning Jacob leaves for our big meeting and will be gone over 3 weeks! We'll go down Wednesday for 10 days and then come back home...but even when we are at the meeting with him, I feel like a single mom since he is so busy from 8am-2am every day! But what I lament a whole lot, is that Jacob is so much better at putting Keely back to sleep...not that we have to do that a lot...but I'm glad he was here tonight and I hope there are no injuries the next 3 1/2 weeks!!
