The first time we played, Jordan watched but then she wanted to play too. We started letting her draw for us and then she would say, "Match" or "No match" depending on if we got a match or not. Of course she does mix up all of the matches and plays with them until it's her and Mimi's turn again!
During one game, she had drawn the Old Maid. She started giggling and said, "Old Maid." She though it was the funniest thing and it made us all laugh!
A few days ago Jordan and I played again and I was amazed at how well she really could play. Of course I had to help her a bit. I laid all of her cards out and she would pick the matches. Then I helped her get her cards together and then she drew for both herself and me. We played for about 15 minutes or so!
Ha! Micah tells when he has the Old Maid too. I keep telling him you don't want the Old Maid, but he likes to have her. Oh well! :) Micah likes to play UNO. If I ask him if he has a red, he'll always answer, "I only have yellow and blue." He IS doing better about holding his cards where I can't see them though!
