Calling Chiang Mai Information
I learned today that you can call information for phone numbers here in Chiang Mai! Now, how did I learn this? Keely and I went to the market this morning and then stopped by the grocery store to pick up some eggs. The car I parked next to looked like it was pulling out. I get out of the car and open Keely's door and start putting the front carrier on when the car next to us starts making a big production to let me know they are wanting to get out of the car and that I'm in the way. So, I shut Keely's door and I went to the back of the car so they can get out. I go back to the door and can't open the door. I had already locked it and the keys and my phone are sitting next to Keely on the seat! The things going through my mind were: 1. I can't remember any phone numbers! and 2. They always tell you not to leave your baby in the car so how am I going to get help? and 3. When I get help, how do we figure out the phone number for the office? A lady going to her car saw me and how perplexed I looked. When she drove by, she stopped to see what was wrong. She parked again and went and got a lady from the store and we all stood around trying to figure out what to do. I told them that my husband's office was nearby but I didn't have the number. That was when they called for information and got the number! PTL for information lines! Not even 5 minutes passed before Jacob was there with his keys!! The whole time Keely just thought I was playing a game and kept smiling at me! What a fun day at the store.
