Our New Walker

Life has changed a little bit now that Keely is walking on her own. Now I don't have to walk around the apartment holding her hand so she can walk, she can do it on her own!! The past couple evenings she has been doing her laps! One night she would walk from me to the TV and back over and over. The next night she would walk into her bedroom and back to the living and back over and over. So, I think she's just glad to be walking!! Now lots of people said that once she started walking she would really get into things and I didn't understand how that could be because she pulled up everywhere and was into everything already. The one change is that she can see more things she is interested in as she is walking to it...so the kitchen counters are not safe now! (They are really short here)!

Also now that she is walking we can go play in play areas! It has gotten colder and so playing outside is harder. BUT we were able to go to an indoor play area and Keely thought that was great! A place where she could walk wherever she wanted! It had a ball pit, slides, little cars and a trampoline!
