Only In Asia

So, wanted to share an "Only in Asia" experience with you. The A/C is out in my office, and the repair guys are here, for which I am grateful, as the afternoon temperatures are already hitting 97+. However, the part they are working on requires a blowtorch to remove the temperature sensor and install a new one. Well, the A/C happens to be above my desk, and though they have moved my desk a bit so I am not right under it and they are, the blowtorch is still only about 2 feet from my head, and all the computer equipment sitting on my desk.... Only in Asia!!

    Haha! That reminds me of an experience we had at Dolphin Bay. The a/c in the unit next to ours went out, and we looked out the window one morning to see them working on it with a blow torch...and there was an oxygen tank about 6 inches away from the blow torch flame! We finally convinced them that that was kind of dangerous and they moved it out of the way. Only in Asia!
