I took this video one morning while Jacob was teaching 22 students at orientation. I don't really remember the morning except that I was sitting on the bench by the door when the girls came up to me with headdresses on that Keely made when she was in K1 in Hong Kong. They had pulled out all of her crafts out of the box hidden under the beds. But instead of being frustrated by that or letting the tiredness engulf me, I decided to enjoy my sweet little girls and let them make me smile. I probably took this video almost 3 weeks ago. That morning, I had no idea how crazy the next couple weeks were going to be. We ended with three that got sick right before leaving for their cities. One sat in the ER a few hours getting hydrated before getting on the plane. Another seemed to be doing okay, but laid in bed sick once he got to his city. The third and her partner stayed with us. It looked to be a fever, and we kept pushing back their flight until it broke and she would be strong enough to travel. Unfortunately, the fever kept coming back and symptoms started piling up. We ended up taking her to the ER a few night later and she was admitted the next day. She was in the hospital for over a week. Her father even came to be with her. We found another city for her partner to go to and she and her father left this evening to go back to the States. It's been a long month, but I remembered this video last night and uploaded it to my computer. I have watched it no less than 5 times, and every time it puts a smile on my weary face.
