How Time Flies

I can barely believe it but yesterday marked Keely being 3 1/2 years old!! Some days I think she is 5, others 10 and even once and awhile 2! But mostly she seems so much older! It just amazes me at how much she wants to help and cares for her sister. She loves to dress up in her play shoes and Tiara! She love to makes stories with her Veggie Tales figurines. She loves to draw...especially with markers. And loves to cut too. And she loves to make sure Jordan is okay.

A few weeks ago, I was in the kitchen and heard a door shut. I couldn't figure out what the girls would be in to so I hurried to go check on them and found Keely in the middle of changing Jordan's diaper. Now Keely asks if she can change it and likes to help. If we aren't quick enough to go do it, then she'll start doing it herself like the time above!

She loves to watch people and is always taking in what's going on around her. Many times after she has processed a situation, she wants to figure it out and try it herself. The other day we were on the Avenue of Stars and saw all of the Chinese people kneeling down to the hand prints of famous Chinese actors. A few minutes later she asked us of she could do it too. She thought it was funny until we gathered a little crowd ourselves of tourists watching the little white girl.

We have lots of fun and adventurous times and I know there are many more to come! She's ONLY 3 1/2!!
