Scrapbooking meets activity

Keely has a sticker book and her favorite page on it was where she had to count the different items in the picture and put the coordinating number sticker next to the item. She did that activity over and over taking the stickers off and putting them back on until the stickers would no longer stick. I decided I wanted to make her one like it but I don't really have the design skills to make my own objects. Then I browsing in a scrapbook store call The Lily Pad and found these by Jackie Larson. Then I created these using her farm pieces:

The counting picture using these

The page to put the numbers

The number "stickers."
I used these templates for the numbers and these papers for the green.

My plan is to print everything on cardstock and laminate them. Then I'll cut the "stickers" put double sided tape for her to stick them in place...we'll see if that works. We'll give it to her on one of the plane rides to Hong Kong. Since our trip back to this side of the world, we have been giving her small presents on the plane that helps occupy her and gives her something to look forward to. (We have been on 12 planes since we left Springfield in January). Especially when she is impatiently waiting in the boarding area...knowing there is a present coming up seems to help!

I think she'll like it!
